Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain Reviews

I am a member of BzzAgent and received a free CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain in exchange for sharing my honest opinion of the product.  Unfortunately, this product wasn't anything I expected it to be.

CoverGirl says: "The water-based colorants of Outlast Lipstain give lips a beautiful, lightweight flush of color that won't come off, lasting for hours without the heavy look or feel of an ordinary lipstick".

         I have been using the Outlast all day lip colour, then I saw the Outlast lipstain advertised and thought I'd give it a try.

        Big MISTAKE. I bought the cinnamon which turned out to be quite red when applied. Application was torture on my lips, so rough, I felt like I'd borrowed my daughters' doodle art marker.

          I found the application was blotchy, and once completely dry, I applied lipgloss. Only to discover that it had disappeared by lunch time.(with the exception of a few blotches)

         Unfortunately the only pro is that I wasted $10,...

I was given the opportunity to try this stuff out through bzzagent.com (it's basically an online word-of-mouth advertising service that sends you free stuff so you can try it and tell people what you think). I was pretty excited about this campaign since I love makeup but am lazy about reapplying lipstick, plus this is pretty much exactly like Urban Decay's "Ink" Lip Stain but half the price.

What's great about it:

• Stays on- yep just like the promise, it stays where you put it, no feathering, smearing, or embarrassing smudges on your teeth.
• Great with lipgloss- way better than smeary lipstick under...

I recieved a free sample of Covergirl lipstain in the mail and it wasn't what i expected.  It does have a nice color selection and does stay on the lips for awhile but not a stain which stays on for a long long period of time. Hard to get out of the container.  Very expensive

I am a member of bzz.com a web site that sends consumers products to try and also tell others about them or create a buzz about them.  About a month and a half ago I was offered the opportunity to try Cover Girl Out Last Lip Stain.  We were given a very limited choice of color.  I picked the more naturall one which is the Flirty Nude.  The Cover Girl Out Last Lip Stain comes in 12 different colors.  All of the shades are pink and pinkish purple.  I did not really see any reds.

When the lip stain came I was surprised at its appearance it actually looks more like a marker than a lip stick. ...

I bought the CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain because the summer is now here and lipsticks and glosses don't hold up in the high heat and humidity of Iowa. I'm also a mother of a 2-yr-old girl and it's a pain-in-the-you-know-what to reapply your lipstick or lipgloss every 5 minutes. I also really hate the feel of most lipsticks after it has been on my lips for awhile. It either gets really dry and makes my lips feel sandpapery or it feels goopy and gross and it smears all over the place.

I've tried MILLIONS of different lipstains over the years and I have yet to settle on liking one enough to keep buying...

I was very disappointed by Cover Girl Outlast Lip Stain.  The color was ok, actually just the shade I was looking for, but after licking my lips a few times, it was pretty much gone.  I can't believe there are so many other reviews that actually say that it lasts a long time, because the fact is that it does not.  Very disappointed in this product.  Total waste of money.  Sorry, Drew B.

I bought Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain recently.  I also paid full price, which is a rarity for me.  I always try to find sales or use coupons.  I was intrigued by this product, however, and I bought one, hoping it would work well.  

I had a few expectations for this product: I expected it to match the color on the tube and I believed it would provide long-lasting color.

I recently tried the new CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain, and have to say I love it!!  I like the look of lipstick, but live in a very dry part of the country, so my lips are usually too dry or chapped to wear lipstick.  Lipstick usually just makes my lips look more chapped and flaky.  So I thought I'd try the lipstain to see if it would work better.  It's a very light, watery formula that your lips just sort of absorp.  It feels nice, and actually made my lips feel more moisturized.  The color really lasts too.  I noticed that even after I ate and drank with it on, my lips still looked "stained". ...

I absolutely LOVE COVERGIRL OUTLAST LIPSTAIN! I tried it after several friends told me about it. I picked up the Cinnamon Smile color w/ the topcoat! Oh my Gosh was it fantastic. Made my lips look a lot more plump, very natural, and lasted for hours even after eating w/ it on. I couldn't believe it lasted over 8 hours! Yes ladies you've read this correctly. I applied it over lipbalm to avoid stinging (which is typical w/ lipstains that are long lasting). Then applied the topcoat! This is one product that I'd highly recommend. I am a product tester with BzzAgent and was excited that I was able to test this product. I like trying new lip products but usually can't afford most. I tried Covergirl's Outlast lipstain when I went to a local amusement park. My lips are dry so like the directions say I put on my lipbalm about an hour before I applied the lipstain. About an hour after I put it on I ate an icecream and most of it wore away. When I left the amusement park about 4 hours after putting on the lipstain it had worn off completely.

I tried two of the Cover Girl lipstains recently and I have to say I love this product. You do not have to reapply very often like most other lip color products. It lasts for like 3 hours or more. I  also put clear gloss over the lipstain sometimes to add shine instead of wearing the matte color.. The color choices offered are really great. I have used other lipstains before but they kind of dried out my lips so I quit using them. I did not have the problem with the cover girl brand at all. I wear it to work and usually don't have to reapply but once during the six hour shift. I really like Cover...
