Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain Review

I was given the opportunity to try this stuff out through bzzagent.com (it's basically an online word-of-mouth advertising service that sends you free stuff so you can try it and tell people what you think). I was pretty excited about this campaign since I love makeup but am lazy about reapplying lipstick, plus this is pretty much exactly like Urban Decay's "Ink" Lip Stain but half the price.

What's great about it:

• Stays on- yep just like the promise, it stays where you put it, no feathering, smearing, or embarrassing smudges on your teeth.
• Great with lipgloss- way better than smeary lipstick under lipgloss, and it will actually stay where you put it.
• Precision tip- the applicator is exactly like a marker, so you can just draw on the color.
• Price-I've seen outlast lipstain in drugstores for $7-9 and there are always coupons and sales on covergirl products so it's very reasonably priced.
• No lingering aftertaste- since it's not constantly dissolving off your lips it doesn't leave that weird lipstick taste in your mouth

The not-so-great:

• Color Selection- There are only a few different colors to choose from (I prefer a giant Mac pallet of colors) and the color I got, Berry Smooch, is a bit off in my opinion
• Not nice to dry lips- If your lips are dry and/or flaky this stuff with will magnify it, so it is absolutely necessary to have perfectly moisturized lips before using.

So in the end, defiantly worth trying.
