I am a member of BzzAgent and received a free CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain in exchange for sharing my honest opinion of the product. Unfortunately, this product wasn't anything I expected it to be.

CoverGirl says: "The water-based colorants of Outlast Lipstain give lips a beautiful, lightweight flush of color that won't come off, lasting for hours without the heavy look or feel of an ordinary lipstick".

CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain is a revolutionary product in the fact that it is like nothing I have ever used or even heard of before. The applicator is an actual marker. You press the marker to your lips and "color" your lips with it. The feeling on my lips was cooling and lightweight. You can't even feel it to know it's there. It literally stains your lips with color that is supposed to last a long time.

CoverGirl claims that this product will last for hours, but I can't get it to last one hour! After I applied the LipStain, I waited about 45 and then ate my lunch. After my lunch I went to the mirror to see what if anything had happened to the LipStain and it was gone!

I have tried this product several times and just don't like it. I don't like the way it makes my lips feel dry. I prefer the feel of lipstick or lip balm; the feeling of the LipStain was too matte and non-existing. I also didn't like that it doesn't last very long on your lips. It just all around just didn't meet my expectations. I wouldn't buy one and I'm throwing the one I have in the trash.

I love these occasional negative reviews that call a spade a spade!

I totally agree. I didn't like this AT ALL.

I'm kind of a lip balm and lip gloss kind of gal, so I don't buy lip stick very often, but I definitely wouldn't buy this! Thank goodness it was free :)

That's what I've heard most people say who have used high-quality brands then use the CG Lipstains. Sounds like one of those products they'll let die a pretty quick death after this year.

I would hate the dry feeling too. I like the lipsticks that have a wet and shimmery look. If they're dry then I'm constantly licking my lips to produce the effect and that is not good.
