I bought Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain recently. I also paid full price, which is a rarity for me. I always try to find sales or use coupons. I was intrigued by this product, however, and I bought one, hoping it would work well.
I had a few expectations for this product: I expected it to match the color on the tube and I believed it would provide long-lasting color.
When I tried it, first, I was disappointed by the color. It was not flattering nor did it match the tube. It did seem to be long-lasting, but that is a problem if you make a mistake while applying it. Applying it basically feels like coloring your lips in with a marker! When you rub it across your lips, liquid comes out (as I expected) but it stains the lips with color unevenly! Since it stains with liquid rather than coats with a creamier substance (such as a lip stick or balm), it doesn't color your lips evenly since the color will stand out in areas of your lips that vary in skin thickness. For me, it was darker in color towards the inside (going towards the inside of my mouth).
It does stay on, because I had to use makeup remover to get it off my lips.
I consider myself a frugal person, but I disliked this product so much that I actually threw it away after a few tries.
