Cover Girl Outlast All Day Lipcolor —
The Cover Girl Outlast All Day Lipcolor trend has been around for quite some time now and I've always wanted to try it out. I've heard positive things in the past so I decided to give it a whirl.So I went to Target, looked up and down the aisle, held the color to my skin, and really tried to find one that resembled positive colors for my skintone in the past. Unfortunately, this color doesn't dull down like other lipsticks do so really, the color in the tube is what you're getting. It is so powerful that, really, I wear it for going out or try to apply it gently with a fingertip instead of the applicator brush. I like strong color but this is a little much.
It does last for a long time, though, but does begin to fade, at least on me in my position as the host of a ridiculously busy restaurant, after about 8 hours.
A major plus- the lip moisturizer smells amazing and is so nice and smooth. I wear it all the time whereas the color sits in the "use sparingly" part of my purse. Hmm. For $7.50 or so, I'd prefer to have something I could wear all the time but am willing to try a new color at some point.
