Cover Girl Lash Exact Mascara Black 905 Review

I own many, many mascaras and most fail me. I want it all. I want length. I want volume. I want no clumping and I want it to look great. I also want the mascara to stay on until I am ready to take it off with no flaking or running.

No wonder why I have so many mascaras, right? What mascara could possibly live up to those standards?

Well, none can but one drugstore mascara comes very close. Cover Girl Lash Exact Mascara Black is an amazing mascara for a small price. The name is really LashExact, all one word, FYI.

The Product

This product comes in a purple tube with a separate wand. You unscrew the top and put the wand into the mascara and then it is a regular mascara tube. The reason for this is purely to show you the neat rubber brush before it gets all goopy. This brush looks like a bunch of rubber bands all cut up. But it is a heck of a brush!

The mascara applies easily and with no clumps. It separates and defines my lashes and really gives them a lot of length and volume. I use a couple of coats and my lashes look amazing. I am just so pleased to have found such an inexpensive mascara (around $5.00) that can actually do all this!

The mascara is not waterproof so you do need to be careful around water. It doesn't run if your eyes water though.

It is removed with cleanser and water or eye make up remover.

My Use

I love it! I like the drama it gives my lashes and I love that it doesn't make them heavy or hard. They look full and long yet not fake or spidery. The brush is the secret. I don't know what the heck causes it to perform so well but it is a unique concept that outdoes many expensive mascara brushes.

Of course, the product itself is also very good. This is great for those who don't like to pay a lot for mascara and for those who like their lashes long, lush, and dramatic.

I wear this day and night. Some may find it is too dramatic for day time. Whether you use Cover Girl Lash Exact Mascara Black for special events or as an everyday mascara, use it!

Unless you plan to swim or play in a rain storm, this mascara will last for hours and will not flake or run. It removes easily.

My Viewpoint

I pay up to $35.00 for some mascaras and Cover Girl Lash Exact Mascara Black is just about my favorite at around $5.00. It's by far the best drugstore mascara I ever used and I recommend it to you.

I am going with 5 stars. Really, you can't beat this stuff for the price. It's worthy of being sold in high end department stores alongside Lancome and Christian Dior mascaras.
