I work at Walgreens and Covergirl came on really strong with the promotion off the new Lash Blast Mascaras. I was immensly sceptical at first because I hate, absolutely hate, Covergirl cosmetics. They always smell like something from your kitchen trash, they cause me to break out in acne and hives, everything (even the unscented stuff) has fragrance in it. (It may say fragrance free, but smell it and tell me if that is fragrance free or not). Every compact, powder and foundation is chalky and cakey, and every mascara I've ever tried of theirs has made my eyes and eyelids burn. But not Lash Blast. We had a really good deal going when it first came out, our computers were spitting out $2 off coupons for the product and it was on sale for like 5.99. A customer gave me her extra coupon and so I said alright I'll try it. I'm soooo happy I did. It's awesome. The product never gets clumpy, it never clumps your lashes together, it doesn't smell liks sewage, the brush is amazing, it goes on fast and easy and it DOESN'T make my eyes burn. This is the best mascara in the word and the only product I have ever endorsed by Covergirl. And I've been a Beauty Advisor for four years!
If you watch the sales it's cheap to because Covergirl frequently goes on sale for buy one get on free or half price!
It also comes off when I wash my face really easily. I've heard the waterproof is a pain but I wouldn't know because I don't use waterproof. It's terrible for your eyes, the animal fat that makes it waterproof can get into your eyes and damage your vision.
