My daughter has a roommate who is an underwriter. She always tells me people never realize that sometimes it takes a company up to 2 years to cancel someone--it goes through several review processes to be sure that it is LEGAL and FAIR--I realize some bad faith insurance companies don't follow that process, but I have been with Country for years. I have had claims, periods without claims, and whenever I have had a question about a rate change, or a policy change, my agent always finds out and lets me know. Once she let me talk right to the underwriters so they could explain it! Well, I had my daughter's roommate over to make sure I had help, and she said they were right on the money. I would not assume that is the reason without knowing for sure. Just a thought. People are so angry to get mad and place blame, just because you hadn't used towing in a year doesn't mean you didn't have a large amount of claims prior to that!
