Cosmopolitan Magazine Reviews

I love this magazine because it includes great beauty, relationship, fashion and sex advice. The magazine answers many questions that women aging from 18-58 have on their minds. I would recommend this magazine to anyone and everyone! It is very well written and easy to understand. Once you pick this magazine up, you will not be able to put it down. I suggest that everyone should get a subscription to Cosmopolitan because it has great tips that women should know. And these tips that are included in the articles can be used in every women's everyday life. Definitely spring for the subscription because...

I love reading magazines and used to have to buy Cosmo every month but now its gotten to the point where every issue is pretty much the same thing. Even the sex articles with all the new position seem to recommend the same things each month. I usually only get it if I'm very bored or theres an article listed on the cover that looks interesting.

I remember seeing my Mom read Cosmo when I was growing up.  She would never let me look at it, so it seemed so taboo!  I couldn't wait to grow up and have my own Cosmo to read.  Now that I've seen the inside of one, I can see why Mom didn't let me look in it!  (there's some sex stuff in there!)

This magazine is just plain fun to read.  I usually read it twice because there is so much to read, I usually miss a few things the first time!  Cosmo is filled with funny stories, helpful articles, fashion and beauty tips, and marriage and sex advice.  They have interesting articles that any woman...

The negative tag says it all: Cosmo has some...er...interesting tips - as long as you're not married that is.  In short, most of the tips in cosmo are on how to land a guy, how to keep a guy, and how to determine if he's a keeper or not.  Unfortunately, none of this applies if you're already married.  In this case, much of the magazine is just a reminder of how hard it was being single and in the dating pool - and how lucky you are for finally being out of it.

Even the "mind blowing sex" tips aren't exactly "mind blowing".  Trying a few of the tricks on my hubby just led to me tickling him,...

I began reading Cosmopolitan at the age of 16 in place of younger magazines like Teen and Seventeen.  My first thoughts at that age were, "Oh, my goodness, are they really talking about (*whisper) 'sex'?" I was so curious that four four years I was a faithful reader, taking in every issue I could get my hands on.  The pros to reading such a magazine were that I had some good tips and I was much more focused on the physical aspect of my relationship than when I missed an issue. I gained confidence in my plethora of tricks, and I also had some good style and beauty tips.

I really enjoy Cosmo. for several reasons. I have been reading it since I was in my teens and feel I have learned some valuable information. Not that I wasn't taught by my peers this, but stuff that other women may go through. There are several articles that are funny and true to life. Question and answer pages are the most fun, you find yourself saying, oh yeah. I have been through that just the same. Sure glad I am not the only one. Cosmo is every girl's guide to success. It is absolutely amazing. It has tips on every topic from health to men. I use it all the time when I give my boyfriend the quizzes. He loves it!

I think the magazine provides insite to issues which are important to women. Many of the health issues which the magazine talks about are real threats such as the human papilo virus and breast cancer. It's different hearing the seriousness of these illensses from a magazine which we trust rather than a doctor who's job is to diagnose patients.

Ok, so we aren't going to learn all of the mysteries of the universe in the pages of Cosmo, but we will get a lot of fun tips.

I do want to point out, that aside from being female porn (whoo hoo!), besides alll the guys without shirts, Cosmo does make serious journalistic contributions. Each issue has a pullout that talks about dangers for women, such as date rape, or illness, or how not to be a victim. Every issue has career tips, self esteem tips, relationship advice, and those health issues we all squirm about when we're at the doctor.
