Cosco Touriva Booster Car Seat Review

My husband and I needed a replacement car seat for our then 20 month old son.  Having 2 older daughters, we knew we wanted a seat that would grow with him through his car seat/booster seat days.  We also needed something that wouldn't take up too much room in the back seat and was affordable.  The Touriva Booster Car Seat fit the bill.  I really like the way that the seat fits securely using the latch system in both my Saturn sedan and my husband's Tuscon.  There is never even an inch of wiggle room after the proper adjustments have been made.  It also goes back and forth between the vehicles easily.

The harness system is also great.  The straps never get twisted like other seats that we have used.  Our son is always very snug in the harness, but not confined.  And we have never accidently pinched him with the buckles - that's not something we can claim with other seats, unfortunately.

We have had several occasions that we have had to wash the seat cover.  The cover and harness system disassembles and assembles easily and I have never felt that "something wasn't quite right" after reassembling the harness.

Overall, this is a great seat at a great price!  We will probably be buying another one, when our son outgrows his toddler seat.
