Safe and convenient, all in one

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I love this Cosco booster seat.  It is a great size, making it easy to use. My son just hops right in and buckles himself up.  It also comes with a hook to put the shoulder belt in so that it doesn't poke him in the neck.  I like the size also because it makes it easy to move if you need to take it out and put back in.  You can pretty much do it all with one hand!  It is also convenient because it has cup holders on each side that can be closed up.  I can't think of anything that I would change about it.  It's just an all-around good product!

Cosco Highrise Booster is the same as Graco, but cheaper!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I bought this Cosco Highrise Booster Car Seat to have for emergencies when we need to take my husband's or friend's car somewhere. When I was at Target, I compared this booster with a Graco one. They seemed almost identical, but this one was much cheaper.

I still use an Evenflo Car Seat in our primary car for my 3 year old, but when we need to use it, this Cosco Highrise Booster is a handy back-up. I love how easy it is to use. Simply have your child sit on it (in the back seat of course) and buckle up the car's regular seat belt over your child's lap and through the slots on the booster. I also love how easy it is to transfer to another car. My son loves it because he feels like ...

Cosco Highrise Booster Seat

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We just got a new vehicle and I wanted to get my son a seat he could ride in. In our old car, we have a car seat that goes up to 65 pounds. Car seats are very expensive so I decided since he was big enough (over 40 pounds and over 40 inches) that it was time for a booster seat.

I bought the Cosco Highrise Booster Seat at Wal-mart and it was only $16! My husband put it in the car and my son sat in it. He loves it! He feels like such a big boy now! it boosts him up so he can now use the seat belt in our car. He seems to be very comfortable in the seat and very happy. The only problem I see with it is that if he wiggles around enough (which all kids do) he can move the belts out of place and g...

Cosco High Rise Booster Seat has flaw in seat cover design

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

We have two Cosco High Rise Booster Car Seats (for the 7-year-old and 5-year-old) and have used them for about a year and a half. Here are the advantages and disadvantages we have experienced with this booster seat:

Advantages:

  • Small size (This comes in really handy when you need to fit two boosters and an infant carseat in the back seat of a 2-door Cavalier--they fit...barely.)
  • Portable (It is handy to be able to switch from vehicle to vehicle--we can grab both at the same time and the kids can even carry them if we have our hands full)
  • **Durable **(We haven't had any major problems with these seats other than getting the covers back on after washing. We have...

Great booster seat for children 3 & over

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I like this booster seat because my 6 year old uses it & it makes the seat belt in the back seat fit her alot better. The seat belt does not choke her or go in her face when she uses this.I would say this should be for children 3 & over because any younger should stay in a car seat as that is much safer.

My son loves his 'Big Boy' Cosco Booster Car Seat!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I own the Cosco High Rise Booster Car Seat and I really like it. My son loves it too. He feels like such a "big boy" in his booster seat, and I love the fact that he is safe and happy too! There are several good attributes about this booster seat. First of all, it is very lightweight and easy to transport from vehicle to vehicle. It is really easy to fasten the seatbelt across it . Also, my toddler son feels like he is in a "real seat" versus a "baby seat". It was also around $20. Lastly, this booster seat is very comfortable for children. The only drawback to this product is that there isn't a headrest. Overall, I think this is a safe, economical, great product!

Great 'Big Boy' Seat

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I got this seat on sale at Target recently for my son for his birthday. We (he) thought it was time to upgrade to a big boy seat and not have a car seat. It is super easy to install because you don't really have to install anything! My son loves the fact that he is not sitting in a carseat like his big brother and he is able to buckle himself in easily - just like his Dad! He's able to see out the window still with no problem and the seat belt hits him in all the right places. I love the seat too. It's very secure and safe. I don't question him being safe while in the car in this seat at all even though it was such a great bargain. The only tip I would give to other people is if your...

Affordable and Cute

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The Cosco High Rise Booster Seat is a great for preschoolers and school age children still in need of a booster seat. It is both affordable and attractive. I was able to purchase two for the price of one during a Kmart sale, meaning I got two seats for less than twenty dollars. My daughter is very picky and loves the design of her seat with is "Olivia" which is pink with flowers. My sons seat is "Blue Camoflauge" and very cute as well. It says it is for thirty to one-hundred pounds, my kids are forty and fifty pounds respectively and both fit in their seats great. The padded, covered armrests are a nice feature, though may get in the way if three seats were required in a car. However, I can ...

Cosco High Rise Booster are easy to clean

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Cosco High Rise Booster seats are easy to clean up. We purchase 2 of these seats for the grandchildren because they were ready for a booster seat. They like to have snacks in the car and tend to make a mess at times, These seats are so easy to clean up with a wet rag,

The boys were excited when we got these seats in colors and couldn't wait to use them. They were comfortable to use and they enjoyed riding in them. The height was perfect for them to see out the window and seat belting them in was a breeze. These seats are light weight and easy to move out of the car when we need to use the backseat for something else.

These seats were a good bargain and an excellent seat for the grandchildren, We read the ratings on these seats and they were rated well in Consumer Reports. I plan to buy a set of them as well for my son to use now that we have seen how much we liked them. I would highly recommend them to anyone needed car seats.

Great for 'Little big kids'

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

When our third baby was born, we had to re-arrange our Cherokee's back seat. There wasn't enough space for three carseats. Our older daughter was in a convertible car seat, and our son used a booster (with back). There simply wasn't any space for an infant seat. Since we couldn't afford to replace the car, we went looking for a smaller booster seat, and this is what we got. Our son seems very comfortable in it. His other booster had a larger base, and he never seemed to have enough leg room. This has plenty of room for his legs to hang down. He likes being able to get in and out of the seat by himself, and has quickly learned how to fasten his own seatbelt. It's great not having to buckle hi...

A great deal for a high rise booster seat.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We bought this for our daughter when she was almost 4 years old, as she had outgrown her convertible seat. My daughter is in the 75th percentile for height and weight for her age, and so is a proportionally big child. She fits well into this seat and I think it will fit until she turns 8, which is required by law in the state where we live. Our model has a cup holder, which she absolutely loves having. She can put her own sippy cup or water bottle into it for trips and not have to constantly ask us to pass back her cup. It will also hold a little plastic bowl of snacks. The only trouble that I have with this seat is buckling my daughter. In the back of our mid-sized car, we have both a conve...

The pad is kind of thin.

Overall

The Cosco High Rise Booster is an inexpensive seat that does the job.  It is not the favorite seat that we own, but it is OK for what I paid for it.  There are pros and cons to the Cosco High Rise Booster.

I liked that the price was right.  I needed an extra booster seat and I didn't have a lot of money to spend.  This cost me very little and does what I need it to do.  The pattern on the Cosco High Rise Booster is pretty neutral and will go with any vehicle.  It does have cup holders and they fold up to be flush with the rest of the seat.  The high arm rests keep the kids in their own space and give them somewhere to put their arms.  It also fits a w...

Cosco's High Rise Booster is safe, convenient and affordable

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I was at my daughters house one day to pick her and my grandsons up to bring them over to my house to visit for the afternoon.  My daughter's husband had forgotten to take my toddler grandsons booster seat out of the car before he went to work. I needed to find a safe, reasonably priced booster seat and fast!

I found the Cosco High Rise Booster Seat at the Big Lots store down the street. They had it priced at $12.99. I had to check with the store manager to make sure it wasn't mismarked, it was such a Great Deal!

I made sure that my grandson was within the weight and height requirements for the seat. I was able to view the seat out of the box. No assembly required. It has a washable p...

nice, big boy and girl seat

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We got this seat for my 4 year old son and he loves it. He is able to do the buckle himself and that makes him feel like a big boy. We also are using this seat with my 7 year old daughter. She has down syndrome and is quite small. But, with a regular 5 point harness, she is able to push the buckle down and get out. With this seat, she has the lap buckle on her and that is safer than having her all wiggling about in the car. This seat is also nice because you can easily take off the cover and throw it in the wash to clean it. And since it does not use any lower anchor attachments or is buckled in, you can move it between cars very easily. That is nice for when you are going to grandma's or switching cars. It also has a nice cup holder. I wish there was a cup holder on each side, but the one that it has does flip up and down so you don't have to have it out if you do not have the room. It is also Made in USA!
