i've had this booster for awhile now and its comfortable and my son can play whIf your child falls asleep in the car a lot, do not get this one - get a booster seat with a high back & shoulder strap guide. We only used this once. My son and I both loved it - until he fell asleep...suddenly the shoulder strap becomes a choking hazard.
If you have an older child or one that does stay awake during trips, I would recommend this. The seat is light, easy to move, well-padded in the seat and arm rests, and it did work the way it was suppose to - just not the way we needed it.
ile inside. The 4-6 age range is when most children have difficulty sitting properly in a booster due to their neural development and at that point they are much safer in a harness. Yes, everyone is safer in a harness but boosters are safe too as long as they can be used properly by a child of the right size and maturity level. It is my professional opinion that this does not occur until at least six years old. And actually there are a lot of states now passing 8, 80 lbs, and 4'9" laws for booster use which is what is recommended by experts. A backless booster provides additional protection for children in the way that it adjusts the adult belt to fit a child properly, but is the most minimal type of car seat and younger children are far better off in a five point harness. Please visit www.car-seat.org to learn more about car seats and best practice for using them to keep our precious kids safe! Many state law don't even require a booster seat for those over 6 years. This is good for a child over 4 years of age. What many fail to consider is how older children tend to not sit properly in a booster, and that makes them far more dangerous. Technically if used properly, we (that means YOU to) should all be 5-point harnesses, but since the law doesn't require it, you're not, and have never had one installed. Isn't your life worth it
