Cosco High Rise Booster —
I tried this car seat for my four year old nephew a few months ago and I hated it. It didnt seem very safe or secure to me. He ways almost fifty pounds and the seat belt still doesnt fit him just right. Our laws indicate that kids must have these seats for their safety but I honestly feel like he would have been more safe and secure in just a seatbelt. Maybe its just me but the car seat didnt seem like it served any kind of purpose. I know it wasnt the fact that he was to big or to small for the car seat so why didnt it look secure enough? I know these laws are set for a very good reason, the safety of our kids are very important to me and you. So how is it that these companys that make these cars seats dont have the same concerns that we do while making them? I noticed while my nephew was sitting in this car seat even with the seat belt as tight as i could get it his seat still wiggeled and wabbeled in the cars seat. I would not recommend this car seat or any like it to any one that I know. Do I expect to much out of these companys who provide the merchandise for our children or is it just my imagenation that alot of the products they make arent even safe for our children anymore?
