I thought this product (Cosco - First Ride Car Seat) held up exceptionally well. The car seat was easy to assemble in my car as well as our truck. The one piece harness made it quick and easy to fasten baby in. The Ergonomic handles made carring it nice and easy. Cosco First Ride Car Seat is light wieght, so carrying it for long periods of time was not problem either. This car seat as a good safety rating. It was also a great buy for the price. Please let me say first that I only have experience with car seats as a grandparent. When my daughter was a baby they did not have car seats that I am aware of. — I think Cosco makes one of if not the best car seats I've ever used. Now you should know that I've never "permanently" installed a car seat base. I have always used the seatbelts to secure the car seat in. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE STYLE OF THE COSCO FIRST RIDER CAR SEAT. IT IS COMFORTABLE AND SAFE FOR MY CHILD. MY DAUGHTER FALLS ASLEEP IN THE CAR EVERYTIME WE GO ANYWHERE. I just had my first daughter and i wasnt sure what to buy. The cosco first ride was recomended to me by my sister in law because of its price. Since ive had it i have found that my 3 month old loves it . she seems to be very comfortable and falls asleep in it all the time. even when were not driving. which is surprising because its hard to get her to sleep. I said before that it can save lives. That is what it does. My best friend has the same carseat and was in a car wreak. It saved her daughters life. I was so thankful knowing that I had the same car seat. Just knowing that my little one was sat in safty made me feel a lot better. The seat is made for safty and it worked.
