When my daughter out grew her infant carseat I knew that I did not want to have to keep buying new carseats, so I looked for carseats that were going to last until she was big enough to safely sit in a seat unaided. That meant that the carseat needed to last until she was 8 or 80lbs. After compairing fifteen or twenty or so seats we decided to go with this one. It was reasonably priced and had decent reviews online. The seat has a decent amount of cushioning, and a detachable pillow for the comfort of your child. It has a five-point harness for use while rear-facing or forward facing as a car seat. It has an adjustable head-rest. When your child has out-grown using this seat as a carseat it turns into a seat-belt positioning booster seat. It is easy to buckle and there is no rethreading the shoulder straps when your child gets taller, because it has handles the help the headrest move up and down. The two downsides that I have noticed to this seat, are that it is hard to take apart to clean, and that the straps twist easy.
