I love this car seat! We researched which car seat to get and settled on this one for our daughter when she turned one. We picked this one because of it's versatility. Our daughter didn't outgrow her infant carrier until after she turned one, but we settled on this one because we knew we wanted several more kids and if any of them outgrow the carrier before they turn one, we can use this one for rear facing. Our daughter is now 2 1/2 and still fits in this one comfortably with the harness. And, once she gets big enough for a belt-positioning booster seat, she can still use this one! She also LOVES that she has a cup-holder just like mommy and daddy do. We also love that when we go on longer trips, this seat will recline, so she can nap more comfortably. I had hoped that it would be something that we could recline in the middle of a trip when she falls asleep...and it can be done, but it's not very easy so it usually wakes her up...so we just recline it ahead of time if we know she's going to be tired during the trip.
I also love that it's so easy to adjust the straps as she grows, just twist the levers at the top and pull up....there's no re-threading of the straps required! There's also a button to loosen the straps to make it easier to get her in and out, then just pull a strap at the bottom of the seat to tighten the straps once she's buckled in.
