This car seat is quite nice for the price. I am always looking to balance quality with price. And this is where the balance is. It fits nicely in my Grand Caravan middle row captain's seat. When we had it rear facing it reclined far enough so that when the little guy fell asleep, his head could actually stay laying back, not falling forward into his chest. When it is forward facing it seems very comfortable for him and there is still enough leg room between the carseat and the seat in front of him so that my older kids can slide by without struggling and squeezing through.
