Cork Flooring — 

We installed cork flooring in our kitchen and hallways.  It is warm and has just enough give to it to prevent aching calves.  If I drop things on it, they don't break.  It was easy to install (used cork tiles) and is extremely attractive!  Love it!

It is quite resistent to everything but gouging. It is impervious to moisture and scratches. I have a dog and his claws don't do any damage to the floor.
