Cooper - Snow Tires —

I am disappointed in how these tires handle on wet snow. It appears they have a hard time initially grabbing traction to the road. However, once they finally get a good grip they run very well (as long as you are moving). I would just urge any owner to be especially careful when taking off from a stop sign or red light as this is when the problem seems to be at its worst. In blizzard like dry snow conditions these tires are great. We lived in northern Illinois when we initialy purchased these tires and loved them. However, now that we are in the St. Louis area we are probably going to be getting rid of them due to this big issue.
