Cooper - Snow Tires —

  • Cooper Snow Tires are the best. I have them on both of my cars -- a Chrysler Voyager van and a Chevy Cavalier. With studs added to the van's snow tires, I have never gotten stuck anywhere even in extremely slippery snow.
  • The thing I like most about the Cooper snow tire is the "open tread" design which allows the tire to grip firmly in the snow with minimal loss of traction.
  • My son also has a Cavalier but likes to borrow my Cavalier with the Cooper snow tires when the weather is bad. I found out why once when I was driving my son's Cavalier in the snow. Even at a reduced speed of 35 mph in a 55 mph zone his Cavalier drifted right off the road into a snow bank and up onto the passenger side. Fortunately for me (and for him) the snow acted as a cushion, stopped the car before it went completely over and even sent it back to an upright postion with no damage to the car or to me.
