This Cooling pad works very well! I have the one with 3 fans and it really keeps my Laptop cooled down! I have tried other cooling pads like Belkin but my Laptop almost melted it! The Cooler Master has a metal base and a USB connector, I read some reviews before I purchased it and feel it was well worth the price!

The Cooler Master NotePal U2 Notebook Cooler works well for keeping your laptop or notebook cool while you are using it. This has small fans that are underneath the metal grid that continue to work as you do your work. The fans are positional and you can pick up the unit and fans to relocate where you want to be the most comfortable. The metal stand is black and holds your notebook upright which allows for good posture. The stand has many air holes in it to allow for better air circulation which prevents your notebook from overheating when in use. Many times a laptop or notebook will get so hot they shut down on you. Not the case with this handy gadget. If you have a notebook or laptop that don't have fans, this may be the right accessory for you. Inexpensive and dependable but you need to adjust the fans if you move around with your notebook. I recommend this neat accessory to help you and your laptop or notebook keep your cool.

I absolutely love this product. This is one of two of the cooler Master laptop coolers that I have. If you have an Intel processor especially one of their new i series processors then there's a good chance that your laptop runs a little bit hot. The laptop that I use this product for those not have a heating problem necessarily and there's no shutdown issues or any significant risk. But it does run a bit warm on my lap and because I want my laptop to last for a long time I chose to get a second cooler master laptop cooler so that I can keep this laptop running cool. The great thing about having a cooler like this is that when the laptop stays cool, but then within the laptop which can definitely be noisy but not turn on as much. And I would much rather have the cooler Master laptop cooler fans than on the laptop because the cooler master fans are very quiet.

I got this U2 cooler bundled with a laptop purchase. Because it was free I thought it was going to be a crummy unit but it's actually not a bad unit at all. The U2 cooler is from Cooler Master, which makes a number of different things cooling related. They are the makers of the HAF computer case, and they also make processor cooling units as well. They have a very solid reputation and are known to be a big name in the cooling aspect of computers. The U2 easily fits my laptop and does so comfortably. It does not need anything to be powered on, it draws power from your own computer which is nice. You simply put your laptop on the stand, and plug the unit into your laptop. The fans will spin and that's really all you need to do. In order to prevent your computer from slipping (probably won't happen anyways) you can strap it onto the stand. The unit operates very well, and looks very clean and nice. For a unit that came free with my laptop, I really can't think of anything bad at all.

My laptop tends to overheat so I purchased a Cooler Master Notepal U2. It has made a noticeable difference in my laptop's performance. Because my laptop overheats, it will shut down on its own. I am thinking that this is a self protection auto shutoff mechanism implemented by the manufacturer. Well, for whatever reason it shuts off by itself when it gets too warm/hot. After getting the notepal u2 i have not had this problem. It's also great in that the U2 also serves as a laptop stand. So not only does it prevent the auto shut off problems I was having but it also lifts up my laptop to a more accessible level that makes it convenient for my viewing and use. The U2 notepal has two special fans that can be moved around, depending on where you want the heat to be gone. I find this flexibility a very useful aspect of this Cooler Master design. I have never owned a cooler master product but this left a great impression on me and I will be looking out for their other items.

My Acer laptop tends to overheat, which is why I decided to pick up a notebook cooler. I decided on the cooler master U2 notebook primarily because of the name. I recognize the name since they make great cases with awesome ventilation systems in them. There were other coolers for the notebooks but they were all brands I did not recognize. I decided to go with a proven brand, and I am fortunate that I did. This is a very well built kit. The cooler comes in just a plastic cover packaging, which is a bit of an obstacle to remove from the actual cooler. There is no batteries or any kind of assembling that must be done. This is great news and it's neat that it's so stress free and ready to go instantly. It is powered by USB, meaning that you just put it into your laptop or notebook and your notebook or laptop will power the fans. There are two small fans that come along with this cooler. They work very well and and are not too noisy at all. I love my u2 and i'm glad i bought one.

If you need a laptop cooler, this is the one to get! Great, quiet, and effective. I'm using an Inspiron E1505 and it has cooled my laptop down 5 to 10 degrees celsius. The fans are removable and are a pair of 80mm quiet ones. The best part is that you can move them anywhere on the cooler. Everyone has a different laptop and different areas of heating issues so you can see Cooler Master has really thought about this. The fans are powered via USB and also have an opening for another USB peripheral on the end so you don't lose a USB slot being used by the 80mm fans. If you just want to use this as a stand, that works too. It has many holes/perforations to help cooling if you don't want to use the fans. I've used a few other coolers with one fan on the middle that didn't help as much as this one. I'm using it on a 15.6 Dell laptop and fits well if any of you are wondering about sizing. It cools effective, I don't notice the fan noise and easy to move around. Hope this helps! Watch reviews on Youtube to get a better feel for it and see how it can used as a "carrying case" almost.

I like this cooler because it is all about convenience. The cooling happens as it sits below your laptop or notebook, making it realy like one unit with your laptop. It is not dangling on the side or hanging on your laptop like how a heatsink would hang on a processor on a desktop application. This has a double feature as it doubles up as a laptop and notebook stand as well as a cooler. You simply plug the usb port into one of your usb ports on your laptop and the fans turn on. There are two fans, for optimal cooling. The U2 cooler has cross drilled holes punctured into the stand, allowing air to move in and out easily and quickly. The fans can be moved across the cooler and are very good. Because this was made by cooler master you can be assure that the cooling will be good as they have one of the best reputations in the computer cooling industry. In addition, they have a great reputation for quality parts and quality builds. I have had mine now for some time and I have zero issues with my U2 cooler.

This is surprisingly a very good color that I purchased from Fry's Electronics. The U2 Notepal cooler from Cooler Master is a really well done product. The product works like this: You place your laptop on top of the cooler, and with its dual fans operating underneath the grid of the U2 cooler, air circulation is greatly enhanced and airflow also greatly enhanced, resulting in a much cooler and better operating computer. Airflow is ehanced in two separate ways. The first is that the grid or stand that the computer sits on, has holes punctured into it, allowing air to easily flow in and out of the stand. In addition, there are two fans providing air circulation to critical parts of your computer. Now the great thing is that the fans are easily moved across the grid and that's awesome because computers are all different and one computer may have an exhaust port on the left, while another has it on the right. That is not a problem with the U2 because you can simply move the fan in the appropriate place.

My gateway computer seems to get ridicously hot.  It would shut down and be too hot to put on bare legs (I could not be wearing shorts and have my laptop on my legs).  I was going to get a new computer because I could not be on the laptop for more than an hour or two before it would shut down.  I am in college so obviously that is crazy annoying because I could lose all my data from papers etc.  My brother recommending getting a cooling pad so I found the Cooler Master Notepad U2 Notebook Cooler- Aluminum with 2 removeable 80mm Fans Black Laptop Cooler.  There is a bigger version that comes with 3 fans.  The fans are super easy to move around so you can put them in the hottest placest on your laptop.  I still set the laptop on my legs and it does not bother it any with the fan going around.  It wouldn't catch on your legs or anything.  It props up your laptop a little bit which took a second to get used to but I'm fine with now.  I really think it works well.  My laptop still gets hot but not ridicously hot.
