Cooks Digital Deep Fryer Review

The Cooks Digitial deep fryer,model 2140C sold through JCPenney, was a very disappointing piece to have purchased. It looked quite impressive,but it everything but. First,when the steam hits the digital display, it literally "steams it up". You can't read anything. The timer was off, and it was rather difficult to set the desired selections. The recovery time was slow, and upon my fourth time using it the heating element died. It was sent back, with no further repurchase.I was very disappointed in this product. I've boughten many Cooks items which have operated fantastically. But this one is another story. Be cautious. The price perhaps is fitting for a unit like this, if it worked right. No happy frying here....
