Better than Magic Bullet, but still lacking

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

So I see this thing at JCPenney on sale with a ten dollar rebate, and I think to myself, "Eh, why not?" It looked similar to Magic Bullet, but seeing how it wasn't, I figured I'd give the thing a chance.

It worked wonderfully, and I was extremely glad that I could let it blend for over 30 seconds, which I found I could not go past with my Magic Bullet if I wanted to avoid a burning smell. And it lasted much longer than Magic Bullet too. I had it for five months before it broke, but I will put that on my brother, who kept filling the thing past the max line when making smoothies. The end result was that the grinder grinded into the plastic, making the thing completely unusable. I believe that if the thing had been of better quality then going over the max limit or not, this wouldn't have happened.

Oh well, such is life. Rather, such is what comes when rooming with my brother.

Anyway, it was really good for chopping up veggies, making smoothies (love that it comes with a different cup for everybody), and worked relatively fast. However, it was really loud and if you wanted to make a lot of something, like smoothies for a bunch of guests, then Cooks 5 in 1 power blender just doesn't cut it.

But this is sitll definitely a good buy if you can catch it on sale. Just make sure not to fill past the max point.
