Cookies By Design- Cookie Bouquets —

I like to send unique gifts to friends. While I really enjoy sending flowers for certain occassions, I like the unique and personal touch that Cookies By Design offers.

For those that havent heard of it, Cookies By Design offers a cookie bouquet for nearly any and every occassion. The arrangement comes in a "pot" or base with as many cookies as you want. The cookies are very LARGE sugar cookies and surprisingly, not only are they cute but they are delicious. (so dont feel like you need to order 10 cookies!)

If you want to vary up your gift, I suggest ordering Cookies By Design. (Edible Arrangements is a cute alternative too!) I received both of these when I had my kids and it was so nice to have some special treats around. Dont get me wrong- I love flowers, but I love being able to eat my arrangements even more.

The only downside to Cookie Bouquets are they are pretty expensive. Most I have sent are in the $50 or so range. While not crazy expensive, they arent a casual little gesture either. But, again, YOU GET TO EAT THEM.

I have sent cookie bouquets for Fathers Day and other holidays when I cant think of anything to buy and it is always a hit.

A few of my favorites are: Thanks A Latte bouquet (see main photo), Thanks a Buzzillion (see photo) and Thanks a bunch.

P.S. Cookies By Design sometimes offer discounts on their website and in local newspapers for 15% off. So, look for an online coupon before you buy!

What a great idea! some people just have everything or are so hard to buy for and this is so fun, everyone would enjoy receiving it. Thanks for the review.

When my step-mother passed away, I sent an Edible Arrangement because I've seen too many people throw a wagon-full of flowers away after the funeral - how depressing! I figured if nothing else, my dad would have something to nibble on when he couldn't sleep. Now you have given me another alternative, as not everyone is that thrilled with "naked" fruit, but who could disagree with a cookie? Definitely another option I hope I won't have to use any time soon.

Wow, what a great idea! I'll have to try it for my next gift

I love these, I sent one to Bryan and afraid that it disappeared maybe even before he brought it home (I am sure he shared at work) I found discounts in entertainment book.

I saw an ad on tv for these and thought it was a great idea!

We just went into this store in Boca Raton. We looked online and then by chance went by the actual storefront. These are great to send but a little pricey since we wanted cookies to bring to a friend. Jo

Thanks for this review Jolie--I can hardly wait to try them! As we know it is sometimes very difficult to buy for guys; but, these bouquets will give them something most men enjoy--- food!

Some Good points you listed, I will have to look for that coupon, I 'm glad to hear they are delicious, I have never heard any feedback from someone about these before..They look so pretty but look like they taste hard.

Glad I could help give you an idea. :)

My dad is the HARDEST person to buy for...only because I can't afford to get him what he really needs (ie. a lawn mower, a new roof on the house, a lamborghini...) so this year he's getting cookies! Thanks for the great idea.

I love unique gifts and this sure fits the bill, a little steep but worth it for some people I buy for. ;)

Can I pick that up on my way to FATville???? Oh, wait, already there... This sounds like a great idea!

This was a great review. I have seen these in the Entertainment Book with a coupon but have never tried them.
