I love to cook, but unfortunately my schedule prevents me from cooking as much as I would like. Of all the cookbooks in my arsonal in the defense against hungar, Betty Crocker has been there through it all. However, the 10th Edition makes me cringe and long for the book my mother used.
The Collection
As a cookbook, the recipes are strong. They have recipes for everything and step-by-step instructions. Sometimes I'll just spend a moment (that's really all the time I have) just reading the book and seeing where the brisket comes from the cow or where the bacon comes from the pig.
