We received this as a wedding gift several years ago. It wasn't something we registered for, but it's made for a few creative meals. It has a nice-double sandwich set up so you can make 2 sandwiches at once. We've enjoyed making sandwiches that have lunchmeats and cheeses, or pizza sandwiches. My only complaint is that you can't fill the sandwich very full without all of the contents spilling out. I like thick, full sandwiches, and you can't do that with a sandwich maker, especially one that has perforations to cut the sandwich in half like this one. It makes for very "bread-y" sandwiches. Not bad, it just depends on what you like. Overall, this is a kitchen "extra", definately not an essential. Fun to have on hand if you have the space to store it. It is fairly small and lightweight and very easy to use. I would recommend it for singles or those for couples. Children may also enjoy using this to "customize" their own special sandwiches.

I purchased this sandwich maker after Thanksgiving.  It makes quick and easy sandwichs for my kids and husband when they are on the run!  Have to watch so you don't over fill but it has very easy clean up!
