Most HelpfulContinental isn't the largest airline in the American skies. It's not the oldest. It's not the most famous. It doesn't have ticket the most passengers, and it doesn't own the biggest fleet. It's not the cheapest either. But here and now, with the realities of the U.S. airline industry of 2007, it pretty...

Most HelpfulI have flown Delta, Northwest, Southwest, US Air, and Continental, and Continental was by far the best. I flew them to Pittsburgh a couple of times, and I had a great experience both times. On at least a couple of occasions, I actually got what would count as a breakfast (cereal and fruit) (this was a few years ago, so I don't know if they still do that).
On the way back from Pittsburgh to Houston the second time, I flew on a regional jet, which I prefer to a larger plane. Our flight attendant, Omar, was very good (You know, if the flight attendant isn't going to be a really attractive woman,...
review »Having had to leave on a quick unexpected family emergancy trip and all the rushing and no rest. I was so shocked an extremely pleased with all the help and friendliness that came from all the Continental employees. They assisted me in finding my way around the airport, that was being remodeled, and getting my tickets and my way back to the correct gate. The biggest suprise came when I was getting ready to get on to the plane. The assistant behind the desk ask me if I was traveling alone, and she wanted to see my ticket. She then looked at it and said I can get you a better...
review »If you're going to get anywhere good and free with an airline, you've got to concentrate your flying on one airline. If you're in the US and want to get overseas on rewards, it's got to be one of the big legacy carriers. (You try getting business class to Paris on Southwest.) And unless you are in another legacy carrier's hub, I'd suggest going with Continental.
The things I appreciate about Continental are:
[] The good first-class upgrade program, which is unlimited and driven by elite status rather than coupons, like United's or American's. If you are high-level elite, you get upgraded a lot....
review »Very exciting with the news that Cleveland Hopkins Airport will be getting $57 mil expansion for CO.
This is the best airline, after fighting bankruptcy years ago, their new President taught his staff very well to stay #1. They have kiosk check in, fast luggage turnover, even cards so we are first in line at TSA with no carry ons to pass through. That is Service!
We can fly to London leaving CLE at 7PM arriving at Gatwick at 7AM for a TA cruise. Nonstop, great meal served & then we get 7 hours of sleep. 4 hour flight from LAX we had a hot meal with salad, roll & butter, and a fresh baked...
review »Long story short: I missed my connecting flight in Newark on my way home to Los Angeles from Paris and there were no more flights available that day. The problem was I had to be at my sister's anniversary the next day in Seattle and I had already booked a cheap a.m. flight from L.A. to seattle the next day. After missing my connection there was NO way I was going to catch that Seattle flight so I asked if I could just rebook a flight to Seattle. The agent was so understanding and patient with me as I cried my eyes out and did the best she 'thought' she could do. She called the reservations...
