Booked Continental through Newark and Rome.
MISTAKE #1) Newark hates Continental and does everything they can to delay flights. Pathetic mess. Both coming and going.
MISTAKE #2) President lies. The President of Continental saud gee we left on time....he failed to note they were on the taxiway for 1/2 hour..THAT doesnt count...against them. So they push back early leaving passengers strandeed (when they swtihc gates form one terminal to another at the last minute)..then idle on the tarmac.
MISTAKE #3) We booked staright through..with Continentals Rome partner. Well the partner hates Continental and would not let us board.
We missed our cruise..
We were there on time...one hour before departure..buyt when mistake #1 we were held on the tarmac..8 hours before..Rome cancelled our seats and sold them to italians..trhey told us we could fly later.
They did not honor the contract of carriage..
TOLD us to get lost..it was Continentals problem.
The PRESIDENT OF CONTIENTAL TOLS ME IN WRITING,,THAT their partner would nto give them the time of day. Yeah me either...
OK..
So I got there in Athens in time to see my cruise sail off into the sunset.
I filed with my credit card and WON...$2786.90 whoopie.
I won fair and sqaure..
NOW the airline went after ticket agent...and I'm being sent to collections...
THAT is bull.
CONTINENTAL KEEPS TELLINE ME I GO TO GO SEE THEIR PARTNER.
Hey don't establish partnerships with people who dislike you.
DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON ME.
I documented $2,800 in expenses when the airline did not fly me for NO VALID reason.
The plane left and landed with my luggage..but I was not on board.
Continental did this to other members TOO on the same flight...they ran fast to another airline and paid again...
I thought aeromexico was aeromaybe ..not Continental.
You would think the President of Continental would be concerned about their partner not living up to their agreement.
