Continental Airlines —

In early July of this year a few co-workers and I traveled to Houston, TX via Continental Airlines.  I noticed that traveling in the past if you want anything to eat you had better pack it yourself as meals are no longer provided on many airlines.  That being said you can imagine my surprise when we received breakfast on our flight to Houston.  I mean although it was not the best of breakfasts it was however a nice surprise to get anything at all without having to second mortgage your home for a snack.  I also appreciate the courteousness of the flight crew, crying babies, amazingly large oversized carry-ons and turbulence were no challenge for this crew!

I'll have to try Continental some time. It's one of the few airlines I have never been on!

Yes, I've noticed that Continental is generally better than most U.S. airlines. On my last trip to Nicaragua, I flew Continental even though it cost me about $30 more than American. AA sucks these days with tack on fees for even *ONE* suitcase, no meals at mealtime, etc. etc. Screw that nonsense....give me honest fares without nickel and dime annoyances any day of the week!
