Having had to leave on a quick unexpected family emergancy trip and all the rushing and no rest. I was so shocked an extremely pleased with all the help and friendliness that came from all the Continental employees. They assisted me in finding my way around the airport, that was being remodeled, and getting my tickets and my way back to the correct gate. The biggest suprise came when I was getting ready to get on to the plane. The assistant behind the desk ask me if I was traveling alone, and she wanted to see my ticket. She then looked at it and said I can get you a better seat than that, giving me back my ticket with a first class seat. I having flown several thousand miles have never been given that opportunity it is usually to hold over for another flight. I was extremely grateful, my family emergancy was very trying for me, I was treated just like all the first class passengers. I will fly with Continental again, they are much more appreciative of their passengers, with all the assisstance, and taking time explaining things, and the very special suprises.
We also left the airport a few minutes late it was a fairly full plane and took everyone a little bit of time to get settled. But, we arrived at our destination a few minutes early so that was a great plus also.
The food that was served was excellent as well as the service. What else can I say? It was all great...
