The Sonma Diet, although a good solid diet, is not for everyone. The diet is based on good nutrition and portion control, wich is great. The down side is that the recipes are all fairly involved and can take an hour or so to prepare. These recipes are wonderful food, amazing dishes I will continue to serve to both my family and guests. But I find them too time consuming for weeknight dinners.
Dr. Gutterson's plan is easy to follow, and based on good nutrition. She even has a website that will email you exactily what you should eat each day, which makes the plan pretty much fool proof. If you don't want to subscribe to the website she has a 12 week daily meal plan that you just repeat until you lose the amount of weight you are looking to lose.
If you love great food, love to cook, and have the time to cook, this is the diet for you. Most delicious food ever! You will never be unsatisfied.
