The movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic" is definitely a chick flick.  My husband took me to see this movie on a date night and let me tell you, he did not want to see it but he confessed at the end of the movie that he actually did enjoy it ( I could tell, he laughed as much as I did).  Now you have to see this knowing that he does NOT follow the book, which I had read the whole series of "Shopaholic" a year of so before this movie was released.  The books were so good and I truly hoped that the movie would be as well, which it was, just different from the books.  Isla Fisher is adorable!!...

Confessions of a Shopaholic takes you into the life of a woman who stumbles on a great job writing financial advice, while, ironically, facing a financial crisis of her own. There are many funny parts mixed with the love-stuff that attracts some female viewers.  Overall, this isn't a bad movie.

We had decided to rent this particular movie one day as we were perusing the options available at Redbox (a movie rental box for those not familiar with it).  I was skeptical, bu tmy wife insisted.  I am not ashamed to admit that I was wrong.  We both enjoyed this movie.  My wife enjoyed it so much...

Seriously this movie is AWESOME!!! I waited to see it until it came out on DVD and had to buy it right away. Anyone that loves fashion will totally love this film! There are so many beautiful clothing items in this film, it makes me want to shop shop shop. Isla Fisher plays the part perfectly! Very fashionable with a great sense of comedy. I have not read the book yet but definatly will! There should be more movies like this! Confessions of A Shopaholic and The Devil Wears Prada are a definate need for a great movie collection! or just for anyone who loves fashion as much as I do!
