If you are looking for a great sound system, the Conair SR 9 shower radio is not it but if you are looking for an AM-FM radio that is water resistant that is clear and sounds good then this is it!  I really like this little radio.  It is easy to use, runs on 4 AAA batteries [not included] and has amazing reception for a little radio.

Features:

The simple to use buttons include a push on and off button, an AM-FM selector button as well as Volume Control and Tuning knobs. That's it.  Short and sweet. The batteries install on the back behind a screw off cover.  I am ambivalent about the hanger.  The radio's hanger feature fits neatly on the shower arm but is too small to hang on a tub faucet.  I wish it would fit on both.

Warranty:

The Conair SR 9 shower radio comes with a limited one year warranty that requires you send in $5 for shipping and handling.  Since the retail price was only $9.99 to start with you might as well buy a new one.  [I bought it at Price Chopper on sale for $4.63.]

I have a stereo sys. in my bedroom and I turn the radio on sleeper mode in the mornings while getting ready. And in the evenings when taking a bath--I load a CD into it and turn the music up so I can hear it while the water's running ;+) With the kind of luck I have: I would probably get electrocuted with a shower radio ;+/

For the price I wasn't expecting much but I have been really happy with this little radio. I live out in the boonies and the reception is great. [much better than my cell phone!]

You should hear the shower radio I bought at Target! It is awful! I can't get a clear station no matter what I do. Maybe I will check this one out. Thanks!
