Most HelpfulI just purchased the Wet 2 Straight Hair straightener from Conair. It is my first try at straigtening. And while I think it does work well with dry hair, for me it doesn't go from wet to straight. From wet to sticky and clammy, and then another round to straight. But if I just let it air dry...
read full review »I have had my Wet 2 Straight for at least 5 years now. I have very long thick wavy hair that is very hard to straighten. I love that the Wet 2 Straight eliminated the need to dry my hair first before straightening as this would add an extra 30 min on to my routine. It did everything at once- dry and straighten. It is especially nice to take on trips because you no longer need to pack a hair dryer also. It also gets really hot which for people with hard to straighten hair is good. Add on to the fact that I have pretty thick naturally very curly hair, and I never thought, ever, that I could have straight hair.
Then I borrowed my friends Conair Wet to Straight hair straightener and I never looked back. This straightener actually worked. I had pin straight hair for the very first time and my whole world changed, I always thought that I had a face that would look better with straight hair rather than...
read full review »I had purchased the wet 2 straight a couple of years ago. The price was a bit high for the quality, but it lasted a good couple of years. I don't think it really straightened my hair while it was wet, only after it dried. It took a long time to straighten my hair with it. It is durable though. My kids would always knock it off the counter and it just kept working. Would work good for people with thin hair that was already mostly straight. Not good for my thick, wavy, frizz prone hair. I bought a different kind when it finally broke.
