I just purchased the Wet 2 Straight Hair straightener from Conair. It is my first try at straigtening. And while I think it does work well with dry hair, for me it doesn't go from wet to straight. From wet to sticky and clammy, and then another round to straight. But if I just let it air dry into its natural crazy mess I can then use the straigtener with good results in just a few minutes. I may continue to try the different settings to see if they higher levels will work better, but I also don't want to dry out and zap my hair. I wish the instruction booklet came with more information. It basically said to just keep on trying it out to see what worked best for you. And while that is probably true, it isn't veyr helpful to a newbie hair straightener like me.
So to sum it up for the review, I do like it a lot as an alternative hair styler, but don't buy the claim it the title of wet to straight.
