Conair Instant Heat Curling Iron —
I have used Conair hair appliances since I was a teen. Understandably, because of their price, they are not top quality, last-forever types of appliances. The hair dryers last longer than the curling irons do- I've had my current one about 7 years. The last curling iron was the same size as this one and lasted about 3 years til it literally fell apart.However, I bought this one in December - just two months ago - and two days ago the heating element simply went out. One minute I was fixing my hair, the next it felt cooler, then cooler, and finally no heat at all. I was seriously disappointed. It wasn't a great $ loss but I'm pretty disappointed in the brand. I bought a new curling iron last night- this time a ceramic one, different brand. Maybe that particular one was a dud but I really don't have time or money to test that theory.
