I had always wanted to try a flat iron. I had bought one before and was not really pleased with the results. I have shoulder length hair. My hair is naturally blonde and fine. I used to let my hair dry naturally and it has a bit of a wave, but mainly looks a mess. I researched all the flat irons I could...

I was really excited when I first got my Conair wet to dry straightening iron. However, once I got it out and used it I was highly dissappointed. In order for it to actually straighten hair, the hair has to be almost completely dry, so that sort of defeats the purpose of being able to use it on wet hair....

The Conair wet to dry straightener is simply the best!  My daughter is caucasian and african american mix and we used to have to dry her hair (which makes it more tangled) then brush it through then straighten in.  this product dries faster than a hairdryer would and straightens it at the same time.  i LOVE it!  it saves us so much time in doing her hair.  one tip is while you are straightening it, run a comb right behind the straightener so that you comb it out as you straighten it.  it makes for a smoother result and helps to remove the tangles that might be caused when straightening and... review »

I originally bought the Conair Instant Heat Ceramic Straightener as a temporary solution because I let a friend borrow my last straighter, so I wanted something cheap to use in the mean time...

I was AMAZED at how well this straighter worked! I naturally have thick, curly hair so with my old straighter I had to blow dry my hair straight first, then use the straightener to get it REALLY straight! With the Conair I can straighten it while it is still curly and my hair comes out just as straight as if I went through the whole time consuming process of blow drying! Not only does this straighter eliminate...

I bought this knowing that it was not going to be GREAT, but it would do the job. It was about average because after I straightened my hair later in the day it would start to curl again bc I have curly hair. And when its wet forget it if you have thick hair. If you have loads of time and don't have problems with frizz this might be better for you. If you use it everyday it will dry out your hair and it will start to have a burned dried up look. I just use mine once in a while and it does the job. Its a good price and if you are not too picky it will work good for you.

The Conair Wet to Straight is the best flat iron I have used.I can use it while my hair is still damp(huge time saver!). The surface is big so I can straighten big pieces of hair at once.I alsohave a Chi, but the Conair takes half the time to to straighten my long thick frizzy hair!

The Conair Instant Heat Ceramic 2" Wet/Dry Straightener is absolutely amazing!  I have short hair and it works so great!  It heast up so quick and has 25 different heat settings so that you don't burn your hair (or your hands!)  You can lock it in place for the curling feature, but I mostly use it as a straightener.  I always get nervous about products I love not being sold anymore so I have two of them right now!  You can't beat the quality and functionality for the price which was about $25.  Since it's ceramic, it smooths and softens your hair with every pass.  My hair never sticks to...
