I recently begain searching for a new hair dryer when my old one started to spark. It was a cheaper end hairdryer and it had lasted me about 3 years, so it was time for a new one. After some research, I went with the Conair Infiniti Cord-Keeper with Tourmaline technology. The first thing I noticed was the cord-keeping ability which makes putting the hair dryer away when not in use a breeze. The second thing I noticed was the speed of the air. I use the highest settings. The dryer does not get very hot, but it does blow the air out really fast. I have fine/thin hair, so it doesn't generally take me a long time to dry my hair and I didn't notice any change with this new dryer. I'm guessing the faster air and less heat may be less damaging??? The BIGGEST difference I noticed was how manageable my hair was after it was dried. I live in a winter-climate area and work in a child-care center with lots of plastic toys. The climate and toys and fleece make my hair very very very very static-y to the point where I carry around dryer sheets to smooth my hair or use hand lotion to get rid of the static. After using the Conair Infiniti for a few days, my static problem has diminished IMMENSLY. It is one of the most annoying things, and to have my hair be static free for most of the day makes this dryer worth the money.

I have long wavy hair and bought this conair dryer after my older one died. The difference is palpable. For one, this dryer has cut down the drying time by half: that's great for my arms and my hair! For another, the hot setting on this does blow very hot, which means depending on the thickness of your hair, the humidity etc, you can go down to a lower heat setting. The dryer comes with 3 heat settings and 2 fan settings, as well as a cool shot button. It comes with 2 accessories: a concentrator nozzle and a diffuser. The concentrator nozzle is of medium width - I wish they had included a finer nozzle, too. The vent cover at the back is designed to be removable to clean out any dust/lint - very useful to prolong the life of your dryer. And finally: the cord retractor button, which helps draw the cord in and allows for the dryer to be neatly put away. Two negatives: dryer is on the heavy side; it is easy to overdry your hair and leave it too dry. so you have to use this dryer when your is totally wet, so you can set the style quickly and not leave your air straw like.

I won this great hair dryer in an on-line sweepstakes.  I was so happy to have won something that of course, it was the best in the world!  But, it actually is great.  It is lightweight, very attractive, and has the most wonderful feature:  the cord recoils into the handle of the hair dryer!  Therre is nothing more annoying than going into a drawer to get an appliance and have 3 or four tangled up and falling all over the place.  This is the best feature of all.  The dryer itself is great.  It dries my hair super quick.  It has three settings, and a cool shot for styling purposes.  It came with two attachments:  a diffuser and a concentrator.  I wear my hair curly in the summer, so the diffuser is great to have on hand.  I like my hair super straight the rest of the time, and the concentrator helps to obtain the level straightness that I am looking to achieve.  I can say  that as the proud owner of probably 5 hair dryers, this is the one that I reach for everytime.

This product is great because it really gets the job done in less time! Very good on your hair! I would recommend this product to everyone! I really like that this product has a cord keeper. too many times I have bought a hair dryer and hated how the cord got all twisted and broke the wires inside. I have gone through too many hair dryers due to this problem. Its nice to have a product where I know this will not happen. It does cost a little bit more and I am all about saving money, but this product is worth the cost. I mentioned above that is gets the job done in less time. I have very thick hair and with another hair dryer it takes a long time to dry my hair which damages it because I have to keep the heat on it for longer. With this product I am able to dry my hair quickly and move on with my day. I would recommend this product to everyone that uses a hair dryer. It is worth your money!

I go through a new hair dryer about every two or three years, I guess, and someday I will buy a professional model that might last a little longer. But until then, it is kind of fun to get a new hair dryer more frequently! So I chose this one because it will pack easily, since the handle folds in and the cord retracts into the handle. Usually, I shy away from more features since that usually means more things that can break, but I decided to take a risk on this one. There are three heat settings (hot, warm, and cool), and low and high air flow settings. The instructions say that when you are using the dryer, "clouds of ions" envelope your hair to get it dry more efficiently. I don't know about that (how do they know these things?), but my hair was dried more quickly than with my previous dryer. Although the handle does fold, it does not feel like a travel dryer, and the handle doesn't collapse when you are using it. It is sturdy and nicely weighted, but easy to hold and maneuver.

I received this Conair Cord Keeper as a Christmas present last year. I am Conair loyal when it comes to hair dryers. I love to take this when I'm on an overnight shift or when I'm staying overnight somewhere else. I love the way the cord can be wrapped back up inside the unit. I always hated dragging my other Conair blow dryer along and having to wrap up the cord and worry that someday that cord would be damaged. This Conair is pretty powerful as well. It has the cool button, the low/high settings for as much power as you'd want, and warm/hot for the temperature. For the cord you just pull it out as far as you need it, and then you push the release button in the middle of the dryer to suck the cord back up. It dries my hair nicer than my other Conair that I normally keep for home use. Conair's a good brand of dryers as well as mine have all lasted for years, and I expect this one to do the same.
