Comfort Touch is good for long hair.

Comments about Conair Comfort Touch Tourmaline Ceramic Styling Hair Dryer:

Conair Comfort Touch Tourmaline Ceramic Styling Hair Dryer is a lifesaver most mornings! I have long, wavy hair that's 1/2 way down my back. It isn't straight or completely curly so either style requires some drying time for me. I love this dryer because it's easy to hold (my fingers dont push buttons when I don't want them to) and it's very powerful. I don't want to spend a lot of time drying my hair and Conair cuts my drying time from 25 to 15 minutes during most uses. The different heat settings and cool blast are also nice. When curly, my hair doesn't need a strong blast of heat but rather a controlled, steady stream that dries my curls but doesn't flatten them.

I recommended this product to my mom, who has short but coarse hair. She loves it as well for the same reasons and also because the handle is comfortable in her hands. The price is a bit steep but I'm on my first hairdryer which shows it lasts a long time.

nothing special

Comments about Conair Comfort Touch Tourmaline Ceramic Styling Hair Dryer:

I've always been pleased by hair dryers in this price range before, but the Conair Comfort Touch Tourmaline Ceramic Styling Hair Dryer doesn't meet my expectations.  My last hair dryer quit working one day so I had to purchase a new one.  This one seemed like a good choice.  It is lightweight and it will get the job done but it has some frustrating aspects to it.  Instead of one switch, it has a split switch that has 2 different parts that slide up and down the handle.  I find it difficult to operate both of these with one thumb and regularly end up changing a setting without realizing it while drying my hair.  I also find it difficult to simply switch it off to set it down without blowing everything around on my bathroom counter.  My only other gripe is that the straightening attachment and the diffuser attachment are difficult to put on and take off.  They don't screw onto the end of the nozzle, instead you have to just really push untli they click into place to put them on and really pull to take them off.  It seems like they will be broken before the hair dryer dies.

Conair Comfort Touch hair dryer makes drying simple and easy

Comments about Conair Comfort Touch Tourmaline Ceramic Styling Hair Dryer:

I bought the Conair Comfort Touch Tourmaline Ceramic Styling hair dryer after reading fantastic reviews about it in a magazine, probably about three years ago now. I'd heard all about the great things that a ceramic hair dryer can do for your hair - less frizz, less damage to your hair, etc. The great thing about this hair dryer is the barrel and handle of the dryer never get hot, like some plastic hair dryers do. There are three different heat settings and three speed settings, though I tend to use the highest settings for both of these. There are two attachments for the hair dryer, but I don't use them - I just use the hair dryer without attachments, and I've never had a problem with it. It dries my hair quickly and easily, and my hair doesn't feel brittle or heat damaged afterwards, which is important because I don't like to add a lot of products to my hair. It also has a cool touch button, which is great if you have lots of long hair like me - using the cool touch button helps to figure out if you missed any wet spots (you can't always tell when you're using the heat function if the hair is dry or just warm from the heat). My only complaint about this hair dryer is that the cord is unweildy - it needs one of those cord keepers that can wind it all up!
