I'm tapping the collective wisdom out there.  What is the best place, brand, model to look for when buying a new computer?  Mine is just about shot and I'm in need of something new soon.  I need to keep the price low (thinking ~$300-$400).  Any thoughts on websites to check, brands/models to look at?  Anything I shouldn't go with?
