LG customer service is less than service.

I recently bought a new LG monitor W1952TQ.  Within the first week all the front panel control where non functioning.  I had to use the encluded software to make any monitor adjustments.  After two e-mail and two phone calls to their customer service department, I finally got a response.  "Take it back to where you bought it"!  Nice idea if Circuit City hadn't closed it's doors forever.  The customer service rep asked all the normal questions about what the problem was and with this information determined there really was a problem.  The solution:  replace the bad monitor with a good one.  OK, that works for me.  Two weeks old and useless, seems reasonable to replace it.  After giving them all my credit card info, just in case I didn't send the broken monitor back to them, they send me another monitor.  Now here is where the problems really begin.  What I received was a refurbished monitor.  For those who don't know what refurbished means, it was a monitor that was returned because it was damaged or didn't work properly.  It was "repaired".  In other words, it was a USED computer monitor that died on it's previous owner.  Adding insult to injury, along with this used monitor was a notice that stated that my original warranty was now NULL and VOID and this one only has a limited 90 warranty.  So now my three year warranty is down to 90 days and it's a used POS.  I might add that this monitor also had dead pixels.  Contacted LG's customer service again to complain about these new facts and was informed that the original warranty was still good.  If so why the notice that it wasn't.  After explaining that this USED replacement had it's own issues I was told that it would be replaced with a NEW monitor.  That's right, a NEW monitor, not a refurbished one.  FedEx arrives and delivers my New USED REFURBISHED monitor.  Immediately sent an e-mail to the rep that I was dealing with and now I don't even get a response.  All this from a company that says they pride themselves on customer satisfaction.  I hate to enlighten them but this customer is not satisfied.  I bought New I want NEW, is that too much to ask for?  It would seem LG thinks it is.  What is really a shame, is that the monitor when working properly is outstanding.  A good product but terrible customer service.  I'm not giving up, I will get it resolved to my satisfaction.  It's like buying a new corvette, driving off the lot and the doors fall off.  Do you accept a used corvette as a replacement?  No way.

UpDate,  It not appears that they are giving me the "Big Silent" treatment.  They won't respond to e-mails.  They must figure I will just go away.  Not likely.
