Chances are that at some point in your life you are going to have wart.  Warts are caused by viruses and it seems that eventually they find you. Many people go to their doctor to have their warts removed by cryotherapy (freezing) - It works but is time consuming and not covered by many insurance plans. Before you go through that expense, give Compound W Liquid Wart Remover a try. Compound W has several other products on the market, but I have seen the best results from the liquid and gel.

The Remover comes in a small glass bottle with an applicator attached to the cap. The active ingredient, Salicylic Acid, is mild and painless and this gives a safe and effective way to treat common warts at home. Application is easy. Just dab the liquid on the wart daily and let it dry. After a couple of days, you will notice the wart begin to turn dark and peel away. Continue to apply until your wart is gone - 7 - 10 days on average.

Please NOTE: If you are diabetic or have poor circulation, you should not use this or any similar product without first consulting your health care professional.

Cost
$7.59 for a .31oz bottle.

The Bottom Line
To me this is the easiest and least expensive way to remove a wart. I have recommended it to many patients over the years with good results. Be patient and remember to use it daily.

I have a different story and a chemical burn to tell you about. I have a wart on my leg. An odd place I know. Well while appying the liquid remover to the wart, some of it got on the area surrounding the wart. Because it is a liquid this is hard to prevent. it says no where on the bottle that if you get this on your skin, wipe off immedietly, YOU WILL BURN or anything similiar to that. This stuff hardens, will not wipe off and has to lterally be peeled off. because it will not wash off, repeated applications cause it to be a thick, hard layer. When I peeled it off, i almost took the wart off with it and it was not ready to come off. i now have an open wound as well as while peeling it caused what the nurse called a chemical burn the size of a quarter on my leg. I called the company to let them know what happened and that maybe it should be clearer on the label what can happen. I was dismissed and told i didnt use it properly and they would send me a coupon for a free "compound w -freeze off." I am out the $10.00 I paid for this junk. I have a $35.00 doctor visit and missed 2 hours of work to go to the doctor AND I STILL HAVE THE WART....
