this is a great car seat. It's very suniggly. if i was in a carseat i would set in one of these types... great product. I have had this product from the time my son was born and asside of not coming out and fitting in a stroller it's the most perfect car seat i have found on the market. The car seat fits much better in a car rear facing then any other i have found. Since the top of the back comes off. But when your child becomes old enough to go forward facing it goes on and it has a cup holder also. It comes in a number of colors including a very girl color and many other options that work for boys and both genders. Also as your child grows in stead of having to re thread the seat belt you can just raise it by pulling a lever in the back and move it up. so you never had to completly take it apart when they grow a little or a lot like some do...lol The price seems high but considering you pay at least $50 for rear facing and $100 for a forward facing and you don't have to do the transfer anymore it's well worth it in the end. Good luck
