Compass Cove Oceanfront Resort - Myrtle Beach, SC Review

We stayed at the Pinnacle July 2009. We had an oceanfront efficiency and were on the 16th floor.  I didn't like the balcony because it had a flower garden in front of it, making it hard to get a full view of the ocean (since we were so far up).  The room itself was nice,very clean. The maid service wan't great because they came at a different time every day.  Three times they knocked while we were still sleeping, once they didn't come until 4 pm, kind of annoying.

They layout of the resort is irritating, you can tell that the buildings used to be separate and bought to make the Compass Cove.  The pools are fun and clean, it's just hard to get to all of them.

Overall, it was a good deal.  We booked on hotwire, so it was considerably cheaper than going through the hotel.  I don't think we'll stay again, just because of the layout of the place.
