I THINK THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST COMPUTERS THAT I HAVE USED THUS FAR.. what i do most on my computer is make cd's and dvd's. I like to take my time to make the best quality possible. I use grahics with lots of color. I have some of the best computer speakers out there because when i am making cd's i like my music loud. I use a flat screen monitor all of the same brand name compaq.. I have had my compaq for over seven years. I wouldn't use another kind besides HP. I have tried all the others and more trouble than I could afford. I had only to change my hard drive once. Which only cost me one hundred dollars parts included. The dvd/cd burner had only to be changed once and it was so easy to install. All I had to do was take the side panel off and disconnect the old one and connect the new one. It was so cheap to buy also only fifty dollars or less. Depending if you want the lightscribe. I do enjoy my laptop for the convenience rather then a PC, I only have issues with all the extra software that it comes with.  You don't need most of it as games and other media types.  I would rather just add all my own that I prefer to use myself as most media and extras are only on a trial basis and after they expire you are not able to afford buying full versions or subscribing to keep them up.  I really do like Compaq/Hewlett Packard other than Dell procucts in general.  Dell is way too pushy in trying to sell you any of their products.  They are not as competent in helpdesk issues,...

I have had my Compaq Presario for approximately 9 years now.  I have had other brands but this one seems to be the best for me.  I have Microsoft Windows XP on it and I love it.  I use it for my genealogy and to play games on.  I have Microsoft Office Home Edition on it and it works great.  If I had the choice of any computer on the market I would stick with this brand.  I have two USB ports on the front of the computer which I use one for my digital camera cord and the other one I use for my MP3 player.  It is very convenient to have them on the front as well as the two on the back.  I...

I have had 3 Compaq Computers thats what I have now and they are some of the worse computers I have ever saw I have had this one about 3-4 years and I have had to refomatt it about 3-4 times. Half the time the Cd burner dont want to work. Have had to replace power supply and it is so slow a snail could keep up with it. The Monotor and speakers are ok Another pro it has a nice looking monotor and tower Its just that my experiece with this has not been all that Great I dont know it may be my aol cause there not as good as they used to be But still it should not be as slow and freeze up as much.

I have been using my Compaq presario for about 7 years now and it's still going strong.

When I do decide to get a new computer I will for sure go for the Compaq brand whether it be a desk top or a laptop.

All my family use this Compaq desk top and have no problems with it, it is easy to configure and also easy to format, all the instructions are built into the Compaq desktop.

Other features of this Compaq desktop is being able to view videos and play music it also has great graphic programs on the Compaq desktop.

I really have no problems with it and have logged many hours of enjoyment....

With all of the hype about the new operation system Windows 7 I'm totally satisfied with Windows Vista right now, and being the sole proprietor of my own business (paralegal services) for the most part my Presario SR5010NX computer has all of the capabilities and loaded applications I need to perform my tasks.

i find copac presario a good basic computer.the speed is average.i like setting it up.i found it easy to burn cds,but harder to burn dvds.it is   easy to figure out.after a while the speed will slow down.for what you pay , it isn't a bad computer.

I got it used and I am amazed it is still running at all.So it obviously has to be a good one.
