Compaq Presario SR5310F Desktop PC Computer Review

I got this pc a year ago and it's been nothing but fun and great times from it since. Only once have I had a small problem w/ it. I rebooted and pressed the reset to factory settings and haven't looked back. Before this I had a Gateway which caused me nothing but money and trouble right out of the box. All it ever did was break down, even w/in the first two weeks it broke down and had to be fixed. At the time of buying this pc I figured I was getting a great deal as it was only a little over $400.00 w/ tax included at walmart. It didn't include a monitor but I figured it was ok considering the it was not a gateway. You can however,  purchase this pc at the same price w/ the monitor included. So my suggestion is hold out for the monitor folks. It's worth it. I already had a somewhat new montior as the gateway one had died long long ago and needed to be replaced. The tech support for this system is great. You can call them w/ anything. There is no time limit on when you can call them, The warrenty is for 3+ years.. which is also great. I had to buy extra warrenty for my last computer and it still didn't cover the cost of getting it fixed. It ended up being cheaper to have it fixed out of pocket then to use the warrenty. Not to mention the fact that every time the company fixed it it broke again right after.  I've not had any problems w/ this computer's power supply box going out, DVD/COM player not working or freezing or skipping. This is great. I didn't know such a machine exisited. Also this pc features several info ports, and is able to support any hardware you would want to plug up to it. No worries about buying adaptors in order to plug in your hardware. The plug and play allows you no mus no fus instant operation for you hardware as well. In many cases you don't even have to load the software. Since buying it I've only had to call techenical support one time and that was only to find the ID number to register my included microsoft software. I don't think there is a down side, except the fact that you can buy the same machine at the same price w/ the monitor included. Had I known that at the time I would have opted to do so.
