Compaq Presario F500series —
I bought my laptop at Costco for about $600. It has been working fine except for some driver issues I had that were resolved by doing a litlle research. I like Vista's features, but have heard a lot of reviews saying that there are compatibility issues with some applications. I upgraded the memory from 512 to 2GB of RAM. I might upgrade the processor at some time since I still do have problems muti-tasking. I would recommend this laptop to beginner or intermediate PC user.
