I have had this laptop for a little over five months now and am very pleased with it. I originally bought it to use for online college classes and the usual internet surfing. It has performed as well or better than my previos laptop which costs four times as much as this laptop cost. The screen is bright and clear. The processor is fast. It has plenty of memory for the average computer user. I love the windows 7 operating system! It is also an excellent portable way to watch DVD's. The movies are clear and just like watching them on a regular DVD player. Another great feature is the capability to burn both DVD's and CD's. I was very sceptical at the beginning because of the price and figured I would be looking for another laptop once I was finished with school, but this one has exceeded my expectations of a laptop that is relatively inexpensive. The only bad thing I I have to say about this computer is that it does not have a slot for SD cards. I like to be able to pop my SD card into the computer to save pictures to my hard drive and to copy music to a card for my phone. This is an excellent value for the money and would be a great laptop for a student, or first laptop for a new user. I love this  computer!

I've had this laptop for 6 months, and it has performed wonderfully. Fully capable of handling full scale programs like Adobe Photoshop, and others. I even share the laptop with the rest of my family, and we all have our our screens. That's 6 screens, and it's still very fast in my opinion. I love this laptop, and I would recommend it to anyone. It's so simple my 5 year old brother can use it, and yet its complex enough that I can keep over 1000 12 megapixel photographs and plenty of high tech programs on it. The internet connection is fairly weak where I live, but this laptop manages to pick up a 2 bar signal most of the time, and the internet that I end up with is plenty fast. My whole family loves it! It wasn't too expensive, and it worked out great! I love it! Excellent qualtiy. Great color! Not too heavy.... Nice size..... Nice Shape... Everything is just great! Nice job on this one, HP.
