I have been having lots of ordeals with lap tops recently.  I had been using someone elses for quite a while, then I got my own that turned out to be a lemon, then I had the opportunity to try a couple of different lap tops, I finally have one that is mine and is for keeps, I hope.

One of the lap tops I got to try was a Compaq Presario CQ60-206US Notebook.  The Compaq Presario CQ60-206US Notebook is a reasonably priced lap top, it is not the cheapest lap top out there, but it is one of the lesser priced ones.

It has a long keyboard and long screen.  I kind of liked that, but it might be a bit difficult for those who take their lap top on the run all the time, and want to work on trains or something like that.  I found the key board stretch to be very comfortable.

The Compaq Presario CQ60-206US Notebook features the following:

Lightscribe CD/DVD disc labeling

M=AMD Athlon X2 dual core QL-62

160GB hard drive & 2GB memory

Wireless G networking

Reads and Writes DVDs' & CDs plus

LightScribe

15.6 BrightView LCD, 1366 x 768

weight 6.52

It comes with Windows Vista Home Premium s/SP1, built in numeric keypad.1 year limited waranty

For a lower priced lap top it is pretty good, it has good screen quality.  The one I used was not a new one and still it functioned very nicely and very quickly.  I very seriously considered buying the Compaq Presario CQ60-206US Notebook, in the end my budget caucious mind got the better of me and I went with a slightly less expensive one.

But I do recommend this lap top for those who want a nice lap top at a very reasonable price.

I have a Compaq Presario laptop and it served me well and is still working fine. I moved up since but the Compaq is actually more durable than my Dells.

My desktop is a Compaq Presario and I'm happy with that. My laptop is an HP and I'm actually quite happy with that too. I will keep this in mind though if there is ever a need for another one!
