I purchased this laptop for light use when away from home, and courtesy of Katrina, soon needed it as my full time total use computer.  Despite the fact it didn't have some features that I would have demanded in a desktop I was purchasing for the same level of use, its stood up to the demands.  My single complaint is that the battery life is beyond short, its nearly useless and has been since the computer was new.  Further research after this problem was noted showed that this was a consistent complaint from buyers of this particular model, so when looking at laptops, if battery life is important, check reviews on multiple sites for how the batteries are standing up to the tests of the users.  Recharge time is also poor on this model...a battery that lasts 30 minutes can need as much as 2 hours to recharge to full power again.
